With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mario Vargas Jr., who left us on May 2, 2025.
Mario was a devoted father to Andrew, Aiden, and Arianna, and a loving son, brother, and friend. He had a deep love for his mother, his sisters, and his brother- and he would do anything for the people he cared about. Family meant everything to him.
Mario had a spirit that couldn’t be ignored—he was funny, wild, and full of life. His energy could fill a room, and his sense of humor brought joy to so many. Whether cracking jokes, sharing stories, or simply being his bold, unforgettable self, Mario had a way of making life brighter for everyone around him.
His loyalty, big heart, and fearless love for his people will never be forgotten. He was one of a kind, and he will be missed beyond words.
