Muriel Esposito passed peacefully in her sleep on January 13, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family and a lifetime of cherished memories.
She was a loving wife, devoted mother of three, proud grandmother to six, cherished great-grandmother to two, and a beloved sister. Muriel was truly one of a kind, deeply loved and impossible to replace.
Muriel possessed a remarkable presence. Strong-willed and discerning, she held those around her to high standards, offering guidance that was firm yet rooted in care and conviction. Many are better for having been shaped by her wisdom, strength, and unwavering expectations.
Family and friends were always at the center of Muriel’s life. She gave generously of her time, her counsel, and her heart, never hesitating to show up when someone was in need. Her support was steadfast, her loyalty unwavering.
Raised in a military family, Muriel developed resilience, adaptability, and discipline early in life. Living abroad, including attending high school in Japan, broadened her perspective and deepened her ability to connect with people from all walks of life.
At the heart of her life was her great love with her husband, Jim. Nearly 71 years of marriage reflected a partnership defined by devotion, loyalty, and commitment, a love that remains an inspiration.
Muriel’s legacy lives on through the values she instilled, the lessons she shared, and the many lives she touched. Though she cannot be replaced, she will be forever remembered and deeply missed.
