Nancy Teresa Weitzel

Nancy was born on March 4, 1957, to Gilda and Earl Dungan. She grew up in a close-knit family with her sisters Cheryl Hough (husband Kevin) and Lynne Heddins (husband Victor). She later became the proud mother of her son, Kyle Weitzel, and shared a special bond with her son by marriage, Bradley Weitzel and granddaughter Cori Weitzel.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughter-in-law, Amber Weitzel, and Amber’s daughter, Daisy Britton, as well as by her former husband, Douglas Weitzel.

Nancy spent many years working as a bookkeeper before retiring, and in her retirement, she enjoyed the simple joys of home and family.Nancy always had a love for true-crime dramas, sand and sun at the beach, and holidays with her family. She also loved to cook, share advice, and bring joy with her ever-present smile. Nancy’s gracious nature and excitement for life were felt by everyone around her—she was a homebody at heart, yet her warmth filled every room she entered.

Nancy will be remembered for her positivity, her kindness, and the love she shared with her family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
