

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years James Kelly “Bucky/Jim” Voelkel and she is survived by daughter, Mary Lee & Boyce Weiman; sons, Kelly Voelkel & Lisa, Gary & Alice Voelkel, and Mark Voelkel & Dee; grandchildren, Elaine Weiman, Koryn Weiman, Rachel and Mike Ray, Jaime and Stephen Swindall, Kaitlynn Voelkel, and Cliff and Felicia Smith; sisters-in-law, Della Grace, Myra Guarino and Mary Ann Guarino, brother-in-law, Stanley H. Voelkel & Margaret, sister-in-law Lucille Martin & Foster; as well as other numerous loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Madeline Porcarello Guarino, brothers Judge Joseph Guarino, Peter J. Guarino and Michael Guarino, Jr. A special thanks to moms caretaker over the last few years Beatrice Norman.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Sunday at the Katy Funeral Home, 23350 Kingsland Boulevard in Katy, Texas, where a rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Sunday with Deacon William Wagner reciting. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday at the St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, 5356 Eleventh Street in Katy, with Rev. David Garnier and Rev. John Kha Tran, Celebrants. Rite of committal will follow at Calvary Cemetery at Forest Park Westheimer.
