

Paul Falcon, age 92, passed away on December 27, 2021 after an extended illness. A native of Scott, Louisiana, he was born on December 10, 1929 to Andre’ and Elodie Legere Falcon. He is survived by his two children, Wayne Joseph (Kim) Falcon of Lafayette, Louisiana and Mary Elizabeth Squyres of Cypress, Texas, four grandchildren, Kevin and Garret Squyres and Nicholas and Christopher Falcon, and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and three wives – Lucille DeRousselle LeBlanc, Roberta Harbaugh Falcon, and Jo-Nell Tucker Falcon.
A graduate of Scott High School, Mr. Falcon served active duty for four years in the United States Air Force during the Korean conflict and received an honorable discharge with the rank of Staff Sergeant. During his working years, Paul worked for The Pure Oil Co, Gulf States Utilities, Douglas Aircraft Corporation, Lockheed Aircraft Corporation, Air Mod (a Division of Cook Electric), Lear and finally Lear Siegler, Inc., where he retired after 25 years. Paul went on to own an aerospace consulting firm for 9 years, Falcon Logistics, then fully retired at the age of 70 in 1990.
Mr. Falcon was an avid golfer, playing in the World Senior Games, where he won multiple gold, silver, and bronze medals at local, state, and national levels. He played at over 175 golf courses in the US, including Furnace Creek Golf Course in Death Valley, which is the course with the lowest elevation in the continental US, and North Star Golf Course in Fairbanks, Alaska, which is the farther course north of the Artic Circle. Mr. Falcon also had the opportunity to play “The Old Course” at St. Andrews in Scotland. His passions also included fishing, hunting, sailing, traveling, and reading.
A private Celebration of Life service will be held at Katy Funeral Home in Katy, Texas on January 22, 2022. Due to CDC Covid-19 guidelines, there will be a live virtual link to the service provided to family and friends who live out of town.
Mr. Falcon will be inurned at a private graveside service in St. Charles, Missouri at a future date.
