Phillip Duncan Burton

Phillip Duncan Burton passed away with loved ones by his side on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at the age of 64. He was born October 10, 1960 in Orange, Texas to his parents William J.C. Burton and Elizabeth Palmer Burton.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Palmer Burton and father, William J.C. Burton.

He is survived by and will be lovingly remembered by his son, Phillip T. Burton and daughter-in-law, Christina N. Burton; stepdaughter, Tommy J. Gantz and husband Jason; grandson, Calvin J. Burton; siblings, Thomas C. Burton, William Bryan Burton and wife Sheila, Ellen C. Murphy and husband Michael, Elizabeth A Arcia and husband Alberto, Robert R. Burton and wife Jeannie, Mary L. McDaniel; as well as numerous beloved nieces and nephews; additional relatives and friends.

Phillip was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend, and dog dad to his cherished companion, Abby. He was best known for the joy he received from the simplicities of life, his purposeful and kind words, as well as his dedication, love, and support for his family.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 am, on Monday, October 28, 2024 at Katy Funeral home followed by a brief reception.
