Robert was born on December 13, 1956 in Kansas City, Missouri to David Armando and Enedina Diaz. He was one of six children and he was a triplet, with Thomas and Stella. He lived in Kansas City, Kansas the first years of his life until his parents decided to move the family to Puebla, Puebla, Mexico.
Robert went to school in Puebla where he graduated from the University of the Americas with a degree in B.S. in Electrical Engineer with emphasis in Electronics. He went on to earn his M.S. degree in Computer Information Systems at the same university. Robert moved to San Antonio, Texas in 1988 to work and to be close to his brothers and sisters. He worked in several cities in Texas and included in that tour of cities he proudly worked for the U.S. Army as a contractor in Killeen, Texas. He eventually moved to Houston, Texas where he worked with several companies including United Airlines and most recently Alcon Laboratories, Inc. as a contractor.
Robert was a member of the Spanish Christian Church of San Antonio, Texas where he served as teacher, counselor, in the music ministry and on the board of elders. When he moved to Houston, Texas he became a member of Iglesia de Jesucristo Palabra-Miel, where he served as teacher, counselor, camp leader, and he actively served in their outreach ministries.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, David A. and Enedina Diaz; his brother, David Diaz; and his niece, Natalie Onofre. He is survived by his siblings: Victor H. Diaz (Norma), Thomas Diaz (Elly), Marisela Leon (David), Stella Diaz; and sister-in-law, Rebeca Navarro de Diaz. He also leaves behind many nephews and nieces in Texas and in Mexico, as well as many relatives in Mexico and Canada.
Robert was an exemplary son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend that embraced the Word of God and served the Lord with all his heart until the end. He always made a lasting impression in the lives of those whom he met. He will be greatly missed by all of us.

Posteriormente recibio de la misma universidad el grado de Maestria en Computacion en Sistemas de Informacion. Robert se mudo a San Antonio, Texas en 1988 para trabajar y estar cera de sus hermanos y
hermanas. Trabajo en varias ciudades en Texas incluyendo Killeen, Texas donde orgullosamente trabajo con el Ejercito de los Estados Unidos, como contratista. Eventualmente se mudo a Houston, Texas donde trabajo con varias companias incluyendo United Airlines y ultimamente con Alcon Laboratories, Inc. como contratista. Robert fue miembro de Spanish Christian Church en San Antonio, Texas y sirvio como maestro, consejero, en el ministerio de musica, asi como miembro de la mesa directiva de ancianos. Cuando se mudo a Houston, Texas fue miembro de la Iglesia de Jesucristo Palabra-Miel y sirvio como maestro, consejero, lider de campamento y en el ministerio de servicios comunitarios.
Robert es precedido en la muerte por sus padres David A. y Enedina Diaz, su hermano David Diaz y su sobrina Natalie Onofre. Le sobreviven sus hermanos Victor H Diaz (Norma), Thomas Diaz, Marisela Leon (David) y Stella Diaz y cunada Rebeca Navarro de Diaz. Tambien lo sobreviven muchos sobrinos y
sobrinas en Texas y Mexico asi como muchos familiares en Mexico y Canada. Robert fue un hijo, hermano, tio, primo y amigo ejemplar que abrazo la palabra de Dios y sirvio al Senor con todo su corazon hasta el final. Siempre dejo un impresion permanente en las vidas de aquellos que conocio.
