Rosa Maria Diaz

Rosa Maria Diaz, lovingly known to many as Rosita, passed away, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, wisdom, and unwavering love. Born and raised in Monterrey, Mexico, Rosa brought a vibrant and joyful spirit to every chapter of her life.

Rosa earned an associate's degree in business and began her career as an executive assistant for Manchester Corporation. After marrying the love of her life, Enrique Diaz, on June 11, 1973, in Sandusky, Ohio, Rosa embraced motherhood with grace and later served her community with compassion as a nurse’s aide.

Those who knew Rosa best will remember her as a true social butterfly — she had a gift for conversation and could talk for hours, always with a sparkle in her eye and warmth in her heart. Whether she was shopping, traveling, or enjoying a meal out, her favorite moments were always those spent in the company of others. Rosa adored pastel colors and brought that same gentle brightness into the lives of everyone around her.

She was a devoted daughter, a faithful and loving wife, an incredible mother, and a loyal friend. Her intellect and astonishing memory made her the keeper of countless cherished family stories. Even in times of hardship, Rosa radiated a peace and joy that could only be described as divine — a strength rooted deeply in her faith.

She was the beautiful blend of two extraordinary parents, whose legacy of love and character she carried proudly. Now, we take comfort in knowing that Rosa is joyfully reunited with them in their eternal home with our Lord.

Rosa Maria Diaz’s love, laughter, and light will be dearly missed, but never forgotten.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Bartholomew the Apostle Catholic Church, located at 5356 11th St, Katy, TX 77493, on September 18, 2025, from 10:30 am to 11:30 am.

Visitation will take place at Katy Funeral Home, 23350 Kingsland Blvd, Katy, TX 77494, on September 18, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
