Terrell was born and raised in Taylorsville, Mississippi, where he graduated from Taylorsville High School in 1990. During his school years, he was a proud and passionate athlete, playing football, baseball, and basketball. He continued his education at Jones College from 1990 to 1992.
Although Mississippi was where his roots began, Terrell spent the majority of his life in the Katy and Houston area of Texas, where he built a fulfilling life both professionally and personally. He served as a building inspector for the City of Fulshear, Texas—a role that became one of the most rewarding of his career, made even more meaningful by the chance to work alongside his best friend, Richard. Before entering inspection work, Terrell dedicated years to truck driving and working as an oil field landman.
Terrell was a man of many talents and interests. He had a true passion for rebuilding trucks, and he found peace and joy in fishing, hunting, boating, and riding four-wheelers. As a teenager and into adulthood, his love for horses inspired him to become an equestrian trainer. In recent years, he taught himself how to play the guitar and took pride in working on his home and vehicles. Western TV shows and Houston sports—especially the Texans and Astros—were favorite pastimes.
Known for always wearing a cap, a can of Grizzly Red dip in hand, and a pocket knife in his pocket, Terrell was a proud family man whose presence brought warmth to any gathering. He never missed a chance to bring out the karaoke machine, turning every event into a memory. If there was a mic, Terrell was singing—surrounded by smiles and the laughter of those lucky enough to know him.
In 1995, Terrell met Mellany Roach at Peter's Wildlife in Houston, and from that day on, the two were inseparable. Their bond was deep, filled with devotion, and rooted in an enduring love that never wavered. Terrell was a devoted partner, a proud and loving stepfather to Nicholas and Spencer, and a joyful grandfather. Known lovingly by his grandkids as "Paw Paw T," they were the light of his life and the source of many treasured memories.
One of the family’s favorite moments was a recent trip to Broken Bow, Oklahoma—Terrell on a boat, surrounded by nature, family, and joy. It was a perfect reflection of the life he lived: simple, full of love, and never short on adventure.
He is survived by his long-time partner, Mellany Roach, and his stepchildren, Nicholas Roach (spouse: Roxana Roach) and Spencer Roach (spouse: Molly Roach). He is also survived by his mother, Mary Page, his grandchildren, Addalyn Roach, Adalynn Lopez, Larry Roach, and Aileen Roach, his siblings: Michelle Pittman, Chris Page, LaMarca Page, Derrick Page, Kimberly Page, Janice Page, and Makeda Jones.
Terrell’s life was a journey filled with deep connections, hard work, laughter, and love. His memory will live on in the hearts of those he cherished and those who cherished him in return.
