Terri Lynn Bowman

Terri Bowman, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with lung cancer, which she fought with unwavering strength and grace. She was 70 years old. Terri was born in Houston, Texas, on August 31, 1954, to her loving parents, Juddy Ray Helmcamp and Billye Weachman Helmcamp. She lived a life filled with warmth, laughter, and love.

Terri had a way of making everyone feel like family. Her kind and gregarious nature, paired with her infectious laugh, meant she never met a stranger. She brought joy and light wherever she went, and her fun-loving spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her grandparents Irene "Meme" Helmcamp and Dewey "Poppy" Helmcamp, whom she lovingly adored.

She is survived by her husband, Reagan Bowman, her three children: Matthew Caskey (Christy), Julie Warnock (Curt), and Megan Williamson, and her two cherished grandchildren, Maddie Caskey and Adam Warnock, who knew her affectionately as “Nini.” She is also survived by her brother Ray Helmcamp and her sister Cindi Ferguson.

Terri's legacy of kindness, laughter, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
