Husband for 67 years to his beloved wife Lillian Veit Shaffer who left us October 9, 2015. They are together again.
He is survived by five children, Vance W. Shaffer, Jr. and wife Mary, Lana D. Hawkins, Karen S. Criner and husband Rich, Brian K. Shaffer, Derek W. Shaffer and wife Yvette; ten grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren. Also survived by two brothers, Dale Shaffer and Robby Shaffer.
