Virginia "Jenny" Dodd

Jenny Dodd, 74, passed away on October 19, 2015, in Katy, Texas, surrounded by her family and friends. Jenny was born on October 30, 1940, to Howard and Edna (Bernard) Caubarreaux. Jenny graduated from Reagan High School in Houston, Texas, in 1958.

She is survived by her children: Ken “Bubba” Yarbrough; Sissy Yarbrough and husband, Ray Conner; and Suzanne Yarbrough; grandchildren: Clint Conner, Bryce Callender, Cody Conner, Star Yarbrough and Travis Yarbrough

She was known as Nanny to all of her grandchildren but was an integral part in raising Star and Travis, with the support of her son and their Uncle Bubba. Jenny enjoyed being around her family and friends, shopping with her daughter, and cooking for all. She enjoyed daily conversations with her best friend, Martha, of 45 years, where they discussed anything and everything from gardening to how many wrinkles appeared on their faces that day. In the 70’s and 80’s she enjoyed dancing, music and laughing.

A generous woman she was; always caring about others, even being honest and giving straight forward advice. She was loved by many and will truly be missed by all.

Memorial Services will be Saturday, October 24, 2015, at 12:00pm, in the Chapel of Katy Funeral Home, 23350 Kingsland Boulevard, Katy, TX 77494, with a reception following.
