J.T. Pool

J.T. was born April 16, 1927 in Ola, Texas to Thomas and Lula (Baldwin) Pool.

JT also known as Jay T. was born and raised in Kaufman County and went to Kaufman schools. JT served in the US Army for 2 years. He was a life long member of the VFW Post 3905 in Kaufman, Texas. He loved listening to Old Country music on his back porch or in his good looking and fast automobile that he always kept. JT was a man who did things his way or it was the highway.

JT is preceded in death by his parents, first wife Ellen Ruth, second wife Helen Lynn, third wife Mary, two brothers Luther Lee Pool, Lloyd Clifton Pool and son in law Tony Straub.

Those left with cherished memories are his four children Jimmie Frank and wife Joyce Pool, Tommy G. and wife Suzie Pool, Debra Straub and Sherry Lynn and husband Dale Mandella, two brothers Finis Ruben Pool and Joe Thomas Pool, nine grandchildren: Mike, Brian, Sammy, Anthony, Sara, Misty, Sandra, Corina and Ned, 15 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren along with a host of other family and friends.

A visitation for J.T. will be held Saturday, February 22, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Anderson Clayton FH - Kaufman with the funeral service to follow at 12:00 following with the Military graveside service at Morrow Chapel Cemetery in Kafuman,TX.
