Merl Newton Reynolds

Merl was born on September 14, 1948 in Trinity, Texas to parents Bowie Andrew Reynolds and Rachel Florine Nichols and entered into eternal rest on October 30, 2015 at the age of 67. Merl loved being outdoors; hunting, fishing and riding motorcycles. His greatest love was his family and grandchildren. Merl was a member of Iron Works Local #263. He attended church at Tripp Baptist Church. Merl was a very loving and caring man who will be missed tremendously by all who knew and loved him.

Merl was preceded in death by his parents, wife Linda Sue Metcalf Reynolds, brothers; Jerry and David Reynolds.

He is survived by his daughters; Linda Renae Johnson and husband Ray of Mesquite and Racheal Diane Aslin and husband Jeff of Rowlett, fiancé Monica Markey of Kaufman, grandchildren; Justin, Rebecca, Nathan, Raymond, Richard and Bailey, great-grandchildren; Tori and Teagan, sisters; Shirley Whitton of Conroe, Geraldine Barr and husband Rayburn of Zachary, LA, and Maxine Whitton and husband Bill of Rockwall, brothers; Mike Reynolds of Wills Point and Verlin Reynolds and wife Cynthia of Mesquite, numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family members and many more friends.
