

Andrea L. (Hope) Turner, 43, a life-long resident of the Monadnock Region, passed away peacefully at her home in Sullivan, NH on Friday, June 26, 2015, with her sister, Shawn and her husband, James by her side.
She was born August 4, 1971, in Keene, NH, the daughter of William R. Hope, Sr and Shari (McAllister) Besaw. She was a 1989 graduate of Keene High School and went on to earn her LPN. She worked for many years at several of the Nursing Facilities throughout Cheshire County, providing personalized care for elderly patients and their families. On a summer day over twenty years ago she met the love of her life: James Turner.
She had a warm, caring and contagious personality which was able to bring joy and comfort to everyone she touched in her life. She was a wonderful mother and devoted her life to her son. She enjoyed traveling and visiting various places, especially the ocean. She also enjoyed spending time outdoors: working in her garden, fishing, playing horseshoes, camping or simply enjoying a beautiful sunset. She will be remembered for her “zest for life” and her ability to light up a room, whether at a family function or if she was singing karaoke.
She is survived by her husband: James Turner of Sullivan, her son: Andrew Hope of Washington, her step-daughter: Alyson Turner of Sullivan, her stepson: Dawson Turner of Sullivan, her father: William R, Hope , Sr and his wife Brenda of Keene, her mother: Shari Besaw and her husband, Roger of Haynesville, ME, two sisters: Shawn Prince and her husband, Clever of Winchester and Lisa Ellis and her husband, Shane of Roxbury, her brother: William R. Hope, Jr and his wife, Carla of Keene and several nieces, nephews and extended family members. She is also survived by her father-in-law Ed Turner of Pawtucket, RI and her mother-in-law Pat Turner of Keene, her step-brother: Matthew Riley of Kansas and her step-sister: Elicha Riley of Keene.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Cornerstone Baptist Church, Swanzey, NH on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 10am. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Foley Funeral Home, 49 Court Street, Keene, NH on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 from 5 to 7pm, family and friends are invited.
