She was born in Keene, NH on March 26, 1926, the daughter of William and Anna (Weaver) Coburn. She attended local schools and was a 1944 graduate of Keene High School.
She graduated in 1948 from the former Elliot Community Hospital School of Nursing and worked as a registered nurse for many years in the quality assurance division at the Elliot Community Hospital, continuing to work in quality assurance when the hospital relocated to its current location, now the Cheshire Medical Center, Keene, retiring in 1990.
Her hobbies included cross stitch and word puzzles as well as traveling throughout the United States, and in the later years she spent many winter vacations with her husband in Florida.
Anna was predeceased on August 25, 2017, by her husband of 61 years, Linwood Curtis, whom she married on June 16, 1956.
Survivors include her two nephews Bill Coburn and his companion, Cindy of Sandusky, Ohio, and Bruce Coburn (Kimberly) of St. Ignatius, Montana as well as cousins Kelly (Rick) Gilligan of Amherst NH, Bret (Mary) Lord of South Acworth NH, Val (Scott) Igoe of Wilton NY, Tara (Chuck) Hafey of Brentwood NH

A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 8, 2025, at 1:00 pm in the Surry Village Cemetery, One Surry Village Road, Surry, NH. All are welcome to attend.
