Barbara A Lantz

She was born in Aquebogue, Long Island, New York, December 29, 1931, the daughter of Marion (Simpson) and Perry V. Conklin, Sr. She was a graduate of Riverhead High School in Riverhead, New York, and she received a Bachelors Degree from Bryant College in Providence, Rhode Island, where she met her husband, Albert G. Lantz, Jr.

Mrs. Lantz worked with the former Cheshire National Bank of Keene, the National Grange Mutual Insurance Company in Keene, and with the CFX Bank in Keene, retiring in 1993.

She was a member of the United Church of Christ in Keene, and a past member of the Keene Senior Center and AARP. She enjoyed trips, reading, and going to her grandchildren’s concerts and sporting events. She also enjoyed attending Age in Motion with her Marlborough friends.

Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Albert G. Lantz, Jr., of Keene, a son, Robert G. Lantz and his wife, Joan M. of Sunapee, NH, a daughter, Diane L. Ray and her husband Donald E. Ray, Jr. of Keene, two grandchildren, Thomas E. Ray and Darcy A. Ray, both of Keene, a brother, Perry V. Conklin, Jr. and his wife, Blanche, of Aquebogue, NY, a brother-in-law, James E. Lantz and his wife, Louise, of Newport, NH, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services and burial in the Monadnock View Cemetery, Keene, will be private.
