

She was born in Lowell, MA, on March 20, 1928, to Henri Joseph and Marie Anna ( Tanguay ) Beausoleil. She was the second of six children.
She worked for 25 years, as a nurse’s aide and ward clerk for the Lowell General Hospital’s newborn nursery. She had a deep belief in caring for others. She cared for her own mother, enabling her to stay in her own home until the end of her life at age 94.
She moved to Keene in 2004.
Family was the primary focus. Her sister, Alice, was her best friend. She loved Christmas and enjoyed all the preparations and time spent with her family. In her retirement she enjoyed puzzles, watching Boston TV stations and her beloved little zebra finch “Pitou”.
She is survived by her daughter: Sandra Richardson and her husband Jeffrey of Westmoreland, NH; her son: Ron Ayotte and his wife Patricia of Marlborough, MA; her grandchildren: Matthew Desmarais, Daniel Desmarais, Carolyn Desmarais, Rachael Richardson, and Jonathan Ayotte; her great grandchildren: Mason Walker, Kaylee Desmarais, Brayden Desmarais and Lucas Ayotte; two brothers: Roland Beausoleil and his wife Theresa of Andover, MA and Paul Beausoleil and his wife Judy of Merrimack, NH. She was predeceased by an infant daughter: Elaine Marie Ayotte; a brother: Donald Beausoleil and two sisters: Doris Reed and Alice Holland.
A Celebration of the life of Cecile R. Ayotte, will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Community and Conference Room at the Railroad Square Community Housing, 49 Community Way, Keene NH. There are no public calling hours. Burial will be held privately in Westmoreland, NH at a later date.
