His parents, Linn M. and Beatrice (Kenny) Parker welcomed their son into the world on April 28, 1943, in Keene, NH. David grew up in Marlborough, NH and was a 1962 graduate of Keene High School, and later graduated from the NH Technical School in Manchester.
David worked for 32 years in the gage department at MPB Corporation in Keene. Following his retirement from MPB, he worked for six years at the Marlow Post Office.
An avid coon hunter, David was one of the founding members of the Monadnock Sportsman Association and co-wrote their constitution and by-laws. He was very proud of his award-winning black and tan coon dogs. He also enjoyed fishing and game hunting and tinkering and maintaining his Ford and Toyota trucks.
He was a Patriot’s fanatic. His perfect day was the time he spent with his wife, Marilyn.

Bedard and his wife, Susan, of Virginia; two nephews, Charles "Chuck" Knowles and Arthur Knowles; and two nieces, Angelique Riley and Rhonda Higman and her husband Geof. Two sisters, Linda Newell and Barbara Healy, and a nephew, Ronald Newell predeceased him.
