My fondest memory of Dennis is his frequent visits to California where we shared breakfast at my house because I would make homemade breakfast. They varied from Scones to a variety of other recipes that we both loved. I also remember when he started dating Sandy who was the love of his life. That made me very happy Sandy I hope you’re doing well.

Dennis was such a wonderful man with a kind heart.  His words were always positive and uplifting.  I will miss that - especially my birthday messages from him!  I will treasure the many memories from many years of friendship that we shared!  My heart breaks for Sandra, Denny and Colleen.  May he rest in peace. 

The first time I met Dennis was at AIG in 1999 and then again at Citi in 2000 where he hired me to work as a consultant and I rented a car every day and drove to Englewood Cliffs and we all had lunch and learned stuff and crimped cables.  I loved his irreverence but yet, how to "get the job done".  He was a generous non-egotistical leader who cared about his team and made sure that we got to shine.  Thank you for the trip to Argentina to install ONE E250 .. Anyway, Dennis you were my friend and mentor and I will miss you! 

Dennis joined our Law Enforcement American Legion Post many years ago and eventually became our Judge Advocate.  His job was to keep the rest of us in line.   Dennis served in the United States Army Security Agency where he was involved with classified missions.  Dennis also became a Military Police Officer, which made him eligible to join our Post.  

Dennis put his security clearance from the ASA to good use in civilian life working on many government projects.  Dennis was an active participant in our Post details, such instructing at the police academy, along with his daughter Coleen, during Officer Survival Week.  Dennis frequently would drive all the way from Keene to Epsom to participate in our semi-annual highway clean up.  Dennis was also solely responsible for designing and printing our American Legion application which is unique to our Law Enforcement Post.

Dennis also came up with the idea that our Post should not only sponsor a young man to attend the American Legion Boys' State program, but also a young lady to attend the Girls State program.
The cost of Girls' State was typically left up to the Auxiliary part of the Legion.    Dennis personally would donate half the funds so a young lady could attend.  Another example of Dennis' generosity is when he donated a computer to our Post.

Dennis and his jovial manner and wisdom will be greatly missed by our members.  God Speed Soldier.

Although we only worked together for a few years I have memories of some wonderful discussions and enjoyable moments thanks to you. 

Dennis was a colleague, a mentor, and a dear friend.  I learned so much from his outlook on treating people the same irrespective of race, religion, etc.   He would regularly send me notes to give me a chuckle and we'd laugh about stories from the past and the craziness of the present. He would always remind me how similar he looks to my father in law and how many people got them confused at my twin sons' bris.  He was my first shooting teacher and pushed me to buy my first gun and my second, etc, etc.    Every time I put something in my home safe I hear him say, "locks are to keep your friends out."   Dennis was a generous, kind, funny, eccentric man who made a difference in this world and to everyone who knew him.  I miss him already and send love to the family.  

I met Dennis purely by accident! He had flown in from NJ to teach a UNIX class in Naperville, IL. I too was teaching classes at that location that was my home base. I noticed that other students were logging into my student accounts and was investigating who was the source of the double allocation. I interrupted his class. He forever reminded me that I ‘accused’ him of failing to check if someone else was using the accounts. He imitated my ‘prancing’ forever. We both continued to travel to the others base location over the years and always shared a meal. He frequently called me on New Year’s Day to keep in touch. I’ll miss our shared laughter.

Dennis was a good friend and a mentor. He will be missed very much. 

I trust you've picked the lock on the Pearly Gates. Rest in peace, old friend.

See will never forget the wondering time we had in Italy. I am glad we got to go.
