

She was born in Boston, MA on December 11, 1947, the daughter of Benjamin and Barbara (Strong) Harrison.
She married Bill Willett in Somerville, MA in 1963.
In 1987, Donna and Bill moved to Marlborough and opened Willett’s Auto Service. Donna was co-owner and business manager until Bill retired.
Donna was an accomplished quilter and was a member of the Monadnock Quilters Guild and the Cheshire Quilters’ Guild. She would display quilts at different libraries or public settings. She would also sew quilts for the elderly and the children at Cedarcrest. She also donated her quilts to police and fire departments to pass on to children in need.
Donna enjoyed reading and playing a variety of board games. She also enjoyed painting with acrylics . One of her greatest joys though, was the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Bill Willett of Marlborough; her son Matthew Willett of Troy; her daughters Sharon Trank of Fayette, AL and Chrissy Willett of Swanzey; grandchildren Nicholas, Olivia, Taylor, Justin, Jerred, Ryon and; great grandchildren David, Lexi and Adrianna; brothers Richard Harrison of NC and Michael Harrison of AK Nicky Sorenti of MA and sisters Chloe Mitrushi of MA, Barbara Henry of MA and Kathy Murray of Keene.
A memorial service for Mrs. Willett will be held on Wednesday, November 23rd, 2011, 7:00 pm at Fletcher Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 33 Marlboro St., Keene, NH. Calling hours will be held one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Donna Willett’s name to the American Diabetes Association, 330 Congress St., #501, Boston, MA 02210.
