Dylan C. Way

He was born May 24, 1993, the son of Dana and Cheryl (McClenning) Way. He was a 2012 graduate of Keene High School. Compassion, unconditional love, open-heartedness and a desire to do whatever it takes to help those in need where the foundation on which he built his life. These passions were what drove him to pursue his work in Fire and EMS. He was a volunteer for the Marlborough Fire Department, where he had been a member for the past 5 years and had been a member of the Marl-Harris Explorers Program.

He was a vibrant part of his family; bringing the laughter to a quiet room, making a joke at just the right moment and giving the warmest hugs, to everyone, no matter where he saw someone he knew. He was a hard working young man, who was always willing to lend a hand to a friend in need. He was an ace at trivia and loved to spend time with family playing trivia games or watching Jepardy.

He is survived by his father: Dana Way of Marlborough, his mother: Cheryl Way and her loving companion Michael Goodwin of Marlborough, his brother: Colby Way, his maternal grandmother: Gloria McClenning of Keene, aunts: Tammy Reed and her husband David of Port Charlotte, FL and Linda Skiffington and her husband Mike of Marlborough, uncle: Mark Way and his wife Annmarie of Marlborough, cousins: Jeremy Skiffington and his wife Alia, Laurie Merrill, Tayla Skiffington, Ryan Rivers, Joseph Rivers and Madison Merrill and several other extended family members. There are also the multitudes of friends which were a part of his life, that he cared very deeply about. He is predeceased by his paternal grandparents: Charles and Rita Way.

Family and friends are invited to call on the family on Friday, January 6, 2017 from 6 to 9pm at the Foley Funeral Home, 49 Court Street, Keene, NH. The family asks that those who attend the calling hours please wear t-shirts with photos of their favorite bands or casual attire. Private memorial services will be held at a later time.
