Edward C. "Ted" Boyea

He was born April 21, 1953 in Keene, NH the son of Edward J. and Martha (Vintinner) Boyea. He was a 1971 graduate of Keene High School and went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from the Worcester Polytechnic Institute. For more than twenty-five years he worked for the United States Postal Service in Keene.

Above all, he enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys and all of the New England sporting events on television. He could recite details of every game played over the last 10 years. Working in his garden also brought him great joy, in addition to collecting coins.

He is survived by his sister: Lori Alexander and her husband Thomas of Wallingford, CT, his nephew: Michael Alexander, two nieces: Lindsay and Margaret “Meg” Alexander and his dear friend and caregiver: Carole McLeary of Wallingford, CT. Ms. McLeary cared for Ted with great compassion for the past several years, for which Ted’s family will always be grateful. Ted was predeceased by his parents.

A Celebration of Edward’s life will be held on Monday, December 5, 2016, from 5 to 7pm at the Foley Funeral Home, 49 Court Street, Keene, NH. There will be a brief prayer service at 6pm. Private committal services will be held in the St. Joseph Cemetery, Keene, NH., at a later time.
