

Erin Gay Robb, 60 of Winchester, died Tuesday morning, September 22, 2015, at Cheshire Medical Center - Dartmouth Hitchcock in Keene, following a period of declining health.
She was born in Keene, on February 27, 1955, to Robert H. and Mona (Brown) Robb, Jr. She attended Winchester schools and was a 1974 graduate of Thayer High School.
She worked for Timken Super Precision for 25 years, retiring in 2010. She later began her own company “Errands by Erin” doing whatever someone might need done from bringing them to appointments, their shopping, house or pet sitting, you name it, she did it.
As a longtime resident of Winchester, she was involved in many town events. Erin was a member of The United Church of Winchester and held positions of Moderator, Clerk and Human Resources Chairperson. She was instrumental in starting and maintaining the Clothing Ministry and was a member of the Ladies Society of The United Church of Winchester. Erin was also an active member of the Winchester Women’s Club, The Winchester Historical Society, Winchester Beach Committee, “Cheshire Chicks” Red Hat Society and was a board member at the New Beginnings Co-Op where she lived.
Some of Erin’s favorite things to do were taking trips and vacations to Maine with her friends, spending time at Nubble Light, and of course, a stop at Brown’s Ice Cream for her favorite treat. She also enjoyed reading and baking. Her breads and doughnuts were always in great demand.
Erin will be remembered for her great sense of humor, her “take charge” attitude and her ability to get things done, lending a hand where ever she could. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her sister: Laurel J. Schryba of Kegley, WV; two nieces: Nancy Whitten and Marcia Whitten of VT, and by her close friends: Patricia and Arthur Johnson of Winchester and their children: Jennifer Fountain and her husband Alan Horn of Arlington, VA; Sara Leclerc and her husband Ryan of Winchester; and her friends Diana and Charlie Belletete of North Swanzey and their children: Stacy Katina and her husband Boaz of Knoxville, TN and Becca Belletete of N. Swanzey; as well as many friends and associates.
Calling Hours will be held Tuesday, September 29, 2015 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at the Fletcher Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at 10:00 am at The United Church of Winchester, 97 Main Street, Winchester, NH Burial will follow in the family lot at the Evergreen Cemetery in Winchester.
