Evan A. McLynch

He was born in North Conway, NH., January 26, 1950, the son of Francis and Phyllis (Sinclair) McLynch, and had resided in Manchester prior to moving to Keene.

Mr. McLynch graduated from Kennett High School in North Conway, class of 1967, and went on to further his education by obtaining his Bachelor's of Science Degree from New Hampshire College in Manchester in 1972. While serving in the US Air Force, he completed his Masters in Accounting at Golden Gate College in California.

A veteran, he was an auditor with the United States Department of Defense. He had been employed with a branch of the US Government for over twenty years.

Mr. McLynch was an active member of the Keene Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and had worked in the local church in numerous capacities. He enjoyed bee keeping and had hives in several places in the Keene area. He was known himself to be a busy bee, prefferring to putter around doing things rather than to sit and do nothing at all. His most enjoyable and favorite thing of all was to be with his family and to watch them grow.

He is predeceased by his father Francis McLynch and his two older brothers Brian McLynch and Jeffrey McLynch.

Survivors include: his mother: Phyllis McLynch of Intervale, NH. his wife of eight years: Mary (Raisner) McLynch of Keene, his sons: Mark M. McLynch of Northwood, Justin E. McLynch of Boston; three daughters: Allison M. McLynch of Winchester, Heather L. Yell and her husband Robert of Manchester and Megan M. McLynch of Manchester; a stepson Brooks Henningsen and his wife Nichole DiLuzio of Ashland, three stepdaughters: Hannah Rangel and her husband Ben of Spring Creek NV., Larissa Verrill and her husband Joel of Layton UT., and Amanda Davis and her husband Ryan of Harlow, Essex, United Kingdom; a sister Corie-Lyn O'Donnell and her husband Jerry of Maine, three grandchildren, three stepgrandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services for Mr. McLynch will be held Monday morning at 11 o'clock from the Keene Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Summit Road, Keene, NH. Friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Sunday afternoon from 3 to 5 at the Fletcher Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 33 Marlboro Street, Keene.

Burial will take place at the family lot in North Conway, later in the spring.
