

She was born, in Keene, on October 4, 1924, the daughter of Caleb and Florence (Burgum) Wright. She was a lifelong area resident. She attended area schools and after graduation from High School, she worked for Sears & Roebuck, on the Square, in Keene, for many years.
She enjoyed all sorts of jigsaw puzzles and especially enjoyed plastic canvas crafting. Her home on Granite Lake was a place of enjoyment and peace for her. She was a long time member of the Sandy Beach Association, serving as the Secretary and Treasurer for many years.
She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the local Moose Lodge and a member of the Munsonville Chapel by the Lake, Ladies Group.
She is survived by: two sisters Dorothy Ball and Ruth Descoteaux, her step son Melvin LaFargue, her step grandchildren Angelina Richard, Melissa Wing, Mary Reed, Michael LaFargue and Christopher LaFargue, numerous step great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, as well as her longtime friends Allen and Barbara Ropiecki of Munsonville.
She was predeceased by: her husband Edward J. LaFargue, her step daughter Brenda Robinson, her brothers Paul Wright and Frank Wright as well as two sisters Bertha Saltzgiver and Christine Mullin.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday, April 9, 2014 from 5:00 until 7:00 at the Fletcher Funeral Home. A Liturgy of the word will be held Thursday, April 10 at 11:00 at St. Bernard’s Church in Keene. Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 15, at 10:00 at St Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made, in Florence L. LaFargue’s name, to the American Cancer Society.
