

Ida was born in Keene on November 12, 1933, to Albert L. and Florence (Blodgett) Bushway. Raised and educated in Keene, attending Keene High School; residing in Keene until she married Harold P. Morris Jr. Together, Harold and Ida built their home in Walpole, where they would spend the next 54 years, raising their family. They would later move to Sullivan to be closer to their family.
Family being paramount to Ida; she was a dedicated mother to her two children, and wife to her husband Harold. Ida was the host for many holidays, ensuring that the family was able to spend them together at her home. She was a constant presence for her family; ensuring that she was able to attend every important moment in the lives of her children, grandchildren, and her great-grandchildren, always looking forward to enjoying the company of her family, that she loved deeply.
Ida took great pride in caring for others; caring for her mother, for her son, and her husband all in their end stages of life. Steadfast in her faith, she attended St. Bernard’s Church for many years.
Ida’s presence will be missed by her daughter, Crystal J. Rokes and her husband Keith M. Rokes of Sullivan; her grandchildren, Emily S. Britt of Keene; and Elysia M. Woodbury and her husband Kyle of Sullivan; her great grandchildren, Anna Lambert, Madeline Lambert and her significant other Elijah Mullen , Gavin Britt and his significant other Taylor Jackson, Gwenyth Britt of Keene; Tristan Bleau, Sarah Bleau, and Connor Woodbury of Sullivan. . She was predeceased by her husband Harold P. Morris Jr.; a son, Harold P. Morris III in 1991, a brother Leon Bushway, two sisters, Delores Haberstroh, and Joyce Tenney.
A graveside service will be held for Mrs. Morris in the springtime, at St. Peter’s Cemetery in Walpole. Further service information will be posted at a later date.
