John J. Donahue

He was born in Greenfield, Mass. January 8, 1938, the son of Walter J. and Catherine M. (Croake) Donahue of Millers Falls, Massachusetts.

He attended Ervingside Grammar School and continued on to Turners Falls High School and graduated with the class of 1957. While there, he played on the football team and continued to follow the football team’s history with great pride. He spent his life living in Turners Falls and was a member of Our Lady of Peace Church. He enjoyed the friends at the Senior Center and attended the many trips they sponsored. His other interest was following and attending many town meetings.

Survivors include his brother, Michael and wife Cindy Donahue of Keene, NH, sister, Frances Ducharme of South Hadley, Mass., niece Caitlin (Donahue) Newell, nephews: Ryan Donahue, Mark Ducharme, Ralph Ducharme and great nieces and nephews and cousins. His father and mother along with a brother-in-law passed away earlier.

A private Graveside service will held in the Highland Cemetery, Montague, Massachusetts, at a later time.
