Kevin L Lougee

He was born in Keene, on September 30, 1955, the son of the late Bert L. and Margaret H. (McLaughlin) Lougee.

Mr. Lougee attended Keene High School, graduating in 1973. He also attended Franklin Pierce College.

He worked at the Keene Sentinel for 32 years, and later for Keene Chrysler, Inc. for eight years until his death.

Mr. Lougee found pleasure working on and driving vintage autos. He enjoyed living in his Spofford home, an area he dearly loved. There, he appreciated time spent with many of his wonderful friends, some he considered closer than family.

Survivors of Mr. Lougee are his special “adopted” family of brothers: Michael Jenna of Putney, VT, Brian Jenna of Chesterfield, NH, Rex Jenna of Warner, NH, and James Jenna of West Chesterfield, NH. His adopted family also included multiple nieces and nephews who all held a special place in his heart. He was particularly fond of Marjorie Jenna of Alstead, NH and Amanda Sharkey of Chesterfield, NH, both of whom he considered his daughters. He also had a number of long-time friends at the Keene Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. His “brother” George (Pete) Jenna passed away previously.

A graveside service for Mr. Lougee will be held at the Friedsam Cemetery on route 63 in Chesterfield, NH on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 12:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made, in Mr. Kevin L. Lougee's name to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, 109 Old Homestead Highway, Keene, NH 03431.
