

She was born in Hartford, CT on June 3, 1928 the daughter of Wayne and Lulu (Dingwell) Clough.
Lois grew up and attended schools in Windsor Locks, Connecticut where she was valedictorian of her high school class. She has been a resident of Keene since 1964 having moved here from Sherburne, NY. She was employed by Supervisory Administrative Union 29 as an administrative secretary at the Franklin School on Washington Street in Keene for more than twenty years.
She was a member of the Cheshire County Retired Teachers and Educators Association and a member of the Keene Senior Citizens Center. She worked at the Ward 2 polls in Keene as a checker and counter for many years.
She enjoyed time spent with her family, reading, traveling, skating, and bowling at Yankee Lanes and enjoying live plays and events. In her later years she enjoyed walking and bicycling.
She is survived by three sons; Wayne C. Mohr and his wife Kathleen of Bloomsburg, PA, Frederick C. Mohr, III and his wife Wanda and David W. Mohr of Keene, NH; her daughter Kathleen Vasko also of Keene. Seven grandchildren; Jocelyn K. Mohr, Jacob F. Mohr, Jordan E. Mohr, Steven M. Vasko, Bianca White, Frederick C. Mohr, IV and Lucas C. Mohr; Five great-grandchildren; Hannah Vasko, Zizi Vasko, Lillianna Vasko, Elin White and Sloane White; a niece Carol Curtin and a nephew James Oppelt. Her husband Frederick C. Mohr, Jr. died in 2005.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Bernard’s Church, 185 Main Street, Keene, NH on Friday, September 28, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Woodland Cemetery in Keene. Family and friends are invited to call at the Foley Funeral Home, 49 Court Street, Keene (www.foleyfuneralhome.com) on Thursday, September 27, 2012 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the American Heart Assn., Northeast Affiliate, Two Wall Street, Manchester, NH 03101.
