Lynda Lea Galvin

She was born in Troy, New York, January 28, 1965, the daughter of Linda A. (Bryant) and George R. Galvin, Sr. She was a 1983 graduate of Fall Mountain High School. For many years she worked for Douglas Cuddle Toy in Keene, New Hampshire and also at the Service Credit Union as a Loan Representative.

Lynda was a very caring person who had a vibrant and bubbly personality. She was always the “life of the party” when she was spending time with her family or with her friends. Spontaneity was one of her greatest traits and it made being around her exciting because you never knew what she might say or do. She also enjoyed crafts, drawing, riding motorcycles, skiing and being around animals, especially her dog, “Murphy”.

She is survived by her daughter: Stacy L. Clark of Chesterfield, New Hampshire, her mother: Linda A. Bates of Drewsville, NH., two brothers: George R. Galvin Jr. of Claremont, NH and Richard S. Galvin and his fiancé Heather Hathaway of Drewsville, NH., four sisters: Lori A. Martin of Drewsville, NH, Bonnie S. Parker of Marlow, NH., Cheryl A. Cooper of Drewsville, NH and Anita Bedard and her husband Noel of Concord, NH., two step-brothers: Joe Bates of Alstead, NH and Michael Bates of Enfield, NH., two step-sisters: Theresa LaCroix of Keene, NH and Sharon Lewis of Rocky Mountain, NC., nephews: Richard M. Sweeney of Walpole, NH., Sean P. Sweeney of North Walpole, NH., Steven P. Swain, Jr of Walpole, NH., and Renel Rutherford, of Alstead, NH., nieces: Tara R. Martin of Monkton, VT., Christa L. Weaver of Marlow, NH and Linda A. Venne of Marlow, NH, Riley S. Galvin of North Walpole, NH and many other nieces and nephews, her life-long friend and ex-husband: Paul J. Clark of Langdon, NH and her Fiancé: George Malloy of Westmoreland, NH. She is predeceased by her step-father, who she thought of as her father: Harlow R. Bates.

A Celebration of Lynda’s life will be held at the Odd Fellows Hall in Marlow, NH on Sunday, December 18, 2011 from 1 to 3pm. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Monadnock Family Services, 64 Main Street, Suite 201, Keene, NH., 03431.
