

Her parents, Gerard J. and Vera M. (Thibadeau) Jobin welcomed their daughter into the world on November 13, 1955, in Keene. Mary was a 1973 graduate of Keene High School.
Mary worked for many years as a data entry clerk with the National Grange Mutual Insurance Company and later the Peerless Insurance Company, both of Keene.
She was a lifelong parishioner of St. Bernard Church in Keene, and a lifetime member of the Keene VFW Post #799 Ladies Auxiliary and the Gordon Bissell American Legion Keene Post #4 Ladies Auxiliary.
Mary was a member of the Eager Breathers Group at the hospital where she formed many friendships with those in the group, especially enjoying their annual boat trip.
Morning, noon or night, Mary enjoyed her cup of coffee. She loved knitting, listening to the oldies, especially Elvis, and country music with Kenny Rogers as her favorite.
Mary found a special friendship with Robert "Bob" Paddock. The two enjoyed spending quite days together, going to antique car shows and taking long drives in Bob’s antique cars.
She will be greatly missed by many in our community, especially her two sons, Michael Putnam and his fiancé, Melissa Gilbert of Rochester, NH, Kevin Putnam of Keene; her grandchildren, Oliva Putnam, Logan Putnam, Decklin Putnam; her sister, Irene Hall and her husband, Gary, of Surry, NH; a brother, Roger Jobin and his wife, Terry, of VT: her sister-in-law, Elaine Jobin of Myrtle Beach, SC; a daughter-in-law, Lori Bagley, of Framingham, MA; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and extended family. Her husband of 15 years, Gene Reno Putnam, died on February 20, 1990. Her companion of many years, Robert Paddock died on June 5, 2023. A brother, Joseph Jobin, predeceased her.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 11:00am in St. Bernard Church, 185 Main Street, Keene. Burial in the St. Joseph Cemetery, Keene, will be held in the spring at a date and time to be announced.
