Michele C. McCabe

She was born September 30, 1961, in Camp Pendleton, CA, the daughter of Lawrence and Joan (Branigan) Mallat. She was a 1979 graduate of Concord High School in New Hampshire and went on to earn a degree in nursing.

For many years she worked as a Registered Nurse and Nursing Supervisor, offering compassionate care to patients in the many hospitals and nursing home facilities in which she worked. She was devoted to the care and provision of her children and family: offering love, support, and friendship throughout their lives.

She is survived by her father: Lawrence Mallat of Keene, her two sons: Stephen McCabe, III., of Bridgeport, CT and Benjamen McCabe of Eugene, OR, two brothers: Robert Mallat and his wife Alana of Louden, NH and Stephen Mallat and his wife Kathy of W. Lebanon, ME, her sister: Ann Tamao and her husband Joseph of Manchester, NH and several nieces, nephews and extended family members. She is also survived by her friend and the father of her children: Stephen McCabe, II. She is predeceased by her Mother.

A Celebration of Michele’s Life will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2016, at the Foley Funeral Home, 49 Court Street, Keene, NH., from 10am to 12pm. Burial will follow in the Monadnock View Cemetery, Park Ave, Keene, NH.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Michele’s memory may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
