

She was born in Bellows Falls, Vt., November 30, 1931. She was the daughter of Ernest H. and Edith (Weir) Silver. She had resided in Keene, Winchendon, Ma.and most recently in Swanzey, N.H.
Millie had been employed at MPB and then at the Elliot Community Hospital School of Nursing in Keene as a housemother for many years. When the nursing school closed, she began working at Cheshire Medical Center as a central supply sterilizer for thirty years.
She attended Monadnock Covenant Church and had a strong faith in God. She was a loving, kind person that loved to help others. She made afghans and Raggedy Anne dolls for others. Since 1983, she would organize trips to Atlantic City for those in the Monadnock Region. She was a "people person", who enjoyed seeing others happy because of the things she made, the things she did and the events she organized for them. She especially loved to sing happy birthday to her family and friends. She loved to play Yahtzee and other board games.
Mrs. Miller is the former wife of Joseph E. Dunn. She is predeceased by her brother Ernest Silver, Jr. , and sisters: Shirley M. Brown, Annie V. LeClair, Florence E. Rokes, and Helen M. Silver.
Survivors include: two daughters: Joy Lippincott and her husband Karl of East Swanzey, and Nancy Jo Hardy and her husband David of West Swanzey, a sister Barbara J. Silver of Keene., seven grandchildren: Kristen Lippincott, Andrew Lippincott, Kim Thompson, Alexander Lippincott and Trevor Lippincott; Matthew Hardy, Nathan Hardy, Meghan Hardy Chase and her husband Alex. She is also survived by the love of her life: Marcello (Nick) Di Perna. She also has several nieces and nephews.
Memorial Service for Millie will be held Saturday morning at 11 o'clock at the Monadnock Covenat Church, corner of Base Hill Road and Route #9. Friends are invited and may wear Millie's favorie color of red. There are no public calling hours.
It has been requested that memorial gifts be made to the Keene Lions Club Eyesight Program, P.O. 62, Keene, N.H. 03431.
