Nancy Ann Marie Agosta Arnone Southwell

She was born in Worcester, Mass., October 13, 1955, the daughter of Pasquale Carmelo and Claire Marie (Beaulac) Agosta. A resident of Keene for most of her life, she was a 1973 graduate of Keene High School.

Early in her work career, Nancy worked for several years with Markem Corporation in Keene. She later worked at the former McAuliffe Business Store in Keene. She continued her work career with IKON Office Solutions, now Ricoh USA, where she has worked for the past sixteen years as a major account representative, a job she truly loved, allowing her to meet so many wonderful people, including her husband, Pete.

She was a former member and past president of the Keene Sunrise Lions Club. She especially enjoyed traveling, making several trips to the Caribbean, and also a special cross-country adventure, enjoying all of the beautiful scenery and historic landmarks along the way. There was always a special gleam in her eye and a smile on her face when she was with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of thirteen years, Percy T. “Pete” Southwell of Keene; children, Adam Arnone and his wife, Johanna, of Peterborough, NH, Joshua D. Southwell and his wife, Michelle, of Colchester, VT, Jeremy J. Southwell of Hinesburg, VT; two grandchildren, Stella June Arnone and Geoffrey Southwell; two sisters, Carol Ann Agosta of Vernon, CT, JoAnne Agosta Mead and her husband, Curtis, and their daughter, Ashley Cavolo, all of Swanzey; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, October 29th from 6:00 to 8:00PM at the Foley Funeral Home, 49 Court Street, Keene. Funeral services will be private. A celebration of Nancy’s life will continue on Thursday, October 30th from 5:00 to 7:00PM at the Stonewall Farm, 242 Chesterfield Road, Keene. All are welcome to join the family in this celebration.
