She was born in Keene, NH on May 8, 1939, the daughter of Henry and Marie Bent. She graduated in 1953 from 8th grade at St. Joseph Parochial School and from Keene High School in 1957.
She had a variety of jobs over her lifetime including running her own in-home daycare, working at the Winding Brook Lodge, the Courthouse and most recently for Gateways Community Services care-taking for the elderly.
She was compassionate to all ages and animals. She fiercely loved all her pets over the years; many dogs and cats. She had a strong faith and attended St. Bernard Church.
She is survived by her daughter Susan Ehling and her husband Timothy of Seattle, WA, and their three children; Jonah, Samuel and Grace.
Her son, Anthony Magaletta III preceded her in death in 2016.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Bernard Church, 185 Main Street, Keene on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at 11:00 am. Burial at the Monadock View Cemetery, Park Ave, in West Keene will immediately follow. There are no public visiting hours.
