Randall C Willette

He was born in Keene, NH, November 22, 1944, the son of Leon W. and Elizabeth (Hooper) Willette. At an early age, he resided in Winchester, later moving to Hinsdale where he was a graduate of Hinsdale High School.

Mr. Willette was an Army veteran serving during the Vietnam Conflict.

A resident of Sullivan for the past 40 years, having moved there from Marlborough, NH, Mr. Willette worked for several years with the United States Postal Service at the Keene office. He was a member of the Hinsdale VFW Post 4234. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and his basset hounds.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Rita M. (Robare) Willette of Sullivan, a son, Scott Willette and his fiancée, April Gignac, of Lake George, NY, two daughters; Catherine Barnes and her husband James of Keene, and Melissa Cashman and her fiancée, David Tardiff, of Richmond, NH, seven grandchildren; Spencer Willette, Travis Willette, Shawna Willette, Christina Barnes, Jessica Barnes, Caleb Cashman, Dylan Cashman, Maisie Haskins-Tardiff, Kayla Gignac, Thomas Gignac, and a great-grandson, Brady Stone. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters; Russell Willette of Hinsdale, NH, Nancy Auffinger of Gansevoort, NY, Gerry Dupray of Athol, MA., Claudia Jackson of Sullivan, Christine Smith of Wilmington, VT, and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Thursday morning, June 2, 2011 at 10:00 AM in the Sullivan Center Cemetery, Center Street, Sullivan. Family and friends are welcome. Family and friends are also invited to call on Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Foley Funeral Home, 49 Court Street, Keene, NH.
