Richard Francis Crosby Jr.

He was born in Keene, NH on March 2, 1956, the son of Richard F. and Janice A. (Wilder) Crosby. Born into a large family, he grew up in the Keene area and attended schools there.

Mr. Crosby was a truck driver for many years, most recently working for BWAY Corporation in Leominster, MA.

He married Laura Thibault on December 30, 2006 in Winchendon.

Mr. Crosby is remembered as a hard worker by his family. He was a drummer and part of a family country band for several years. He enjoyed Saturday night band practice and Sunday morning softball. He most enjoyed spending time with his family and his grandchildren.

Mr. Crosby is survived by his wife Laura Crosby of Orange; his children Sammy-Jo Crosby of Baldwinsville, Crystal Reynolds of Orange, Nicholas Pos of Keene, NH, and Dakota Pos who is currently serving in the United States Marine Corp in Washington state; his two grandchildren Hayden Powell and Kymber Reynolds both of Orange; his siblings Gary Town of OR, Neil Town of OR, Arlene Merrill of Alstead, Kathy Damon of Athol, Ray Crosby, and wife Theresa, of Swanzey, David Crosby of Marlborough, and Janice Whitestone, and husband Mark, of Petersham, MA; and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Services for Mr. Crosby will be held on Sunday, January 4th, 2014, 3:00PM, at the Community House, 18 Old Richmond Road, Swanzey, NH 03431.
