Robert Edward Pierce Jr.

He was born October 28, 1954, in Keene, NH, the son of Robert E. and Gertrude E. (Morrison) Pierce, Sr. He was a student of Keene High School. On August 26, 1984, he married the love of his life, Barbara N. DeProspo. For many years he worked for Arlington Paving.

He enjoyed being out in nature: whether fishing, boating, or working in his garden, he had a true gift for growing vegetables. He also enjoyed attending the annual Seafood Festival.

He is survived by his wife: Barbara Pierce of Keene, three daughters: Barbara McNally of West Swanzey, NH, Andrea Pierce of Lebanon, NH and Cara Pierce of Lebanon, NH, three sons: Fredrick Serpico of Westmoreland, NH, Santo Serpico and his wife Angie of Keene, NH and Anthony R. Pierce and his wife Liz of Keene, NH. eleven grandchildren, two, great-grandchildren, two sisters: Kathleen Southwell and her husband Henry of North Swanzey, NH and Ethelind Hanninan and her husband Robert of Groton, MA, his brother: Brian R. Peirce and his wife Linda of Florida and many nieces, nephews and extended family members. He is also survived by his beloved companion, his Dachshund, “Hershey”.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Maple Ave, Keene, on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at 11:00am. Burial will follow in the Monadnock View Cemetery on Park Ave. There will be no calling hours.
