

He was born October 9, 1959 in Keene, NH, the son of Barbara Wesley (Fredette) and Robert Wesley Sr.
Growing up in Westmoreland, he attended Keene High School and was a graduate with the class of 1977. Robbie furthered his education at Keene State College; receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in a field he was truly passionate about, Human Services.
For the past 30 years he resided in Alstead where he enjoyed taking care of his country home and animals. He had been a member of the Keene Moose Lodge and had served as an Officer. Employed by Residential Resources for 21 years, Robbie was a dedicated caretaker. He found much fulfillment in assisting others live an independent lifestyle and cherished the bonds he had created. Robbie was always available to lend a hand, never asking anything in return.
Robbie was a gentle, quiet, and private man but that didn’t stop his witty sense of humor. He was a man who was always on the go and nothing ever held him back. His kind and forgiving nature was incomparable. He was considered “the glue of the family” and had a special relationship with each person - family and beyond. Lovingly called “Uncle Bubby”, he eagerly took on a fatherly role experiencing landmark milestones with his niece and nephew. His love and caring ways carried on to the next generation with his two great nieces. They thought the world of him and his face lit up when they were around.
Robbie will be greatly missed by his mother: Barbara Wesley of Alstead; two sisters: Veronica Wesley and Valerie Coates both of Westmoreland; a niece: Kacey Gardner of Newport; a nephew: Kory Wesley of Alstead; two great-nieces: Hailey and Hannah; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is predeceased by his father, Robert Wesley Sr.
Family and friends are invited to call at the Fletcher Funeral Home, 33 Marlboro Street, Keene, NH, for a time of reflection on Monday, January 16, 2017 at 1:30 pm. A memorial service will follow immediately at 2:00 pm.
