Sandra Jane Rajala Palmer

She was born in Keene, on January 20, 1947, the daughter of Rueben of Helvi Rajala. She was a member of the Keene High School Class of 1965.

She married William A. “Bill” Palmer on February 13, 1989 in a ceremony in Greenville, NH.

She worked, for many years, at Troy Mills as a Switchboard Operator. After the Mill closed she worked for the US Postal Service where she retired as a Rural Route Mail Carrier.

She enjoyed fishing, gardening, and many other outdoor activities with her dog, Maggie.

She is survived by her husband: Bill Palmer, of Harrisville; a daughter: Linda Duffy and her husband Joe, and their daughter, Jennifer of Dixon, MO; two brothers: Richard Rajala and his wife Marcia of Kennebunk, ME and Reuben Rajala and his wife Meg of Gorham, NH; a sister: Gail Wilder of Linn, MO; as well as several nieces, nephews and other extended family. She was predeceased by a daughter: Judy Wright.

At Sandra’s request, there will be no public calling hours or services. Burial will be private.
