Susan Ann Bunker

Her parents, Ernest and Harriet (Twombley) Bedaw welcomed their daughter into the world on March 19, 1947, in Keene, NH. She was a 1965 graduate of Monadnock Regional High School in Swanzey, NH.

Susan worked with the former Kingsbury Credit Union in Keene, a position she truly loved. She later enjoyed helping students as a tutor at Keene High School.

She was an avid cook and could be found watching the cooking channels daily. She had a large collection of cookbooks as well, allowing her to dabble in unique recipe creations. She loved hosting the family holiday dinners. Everyone loved her desserts, especially her pies.

Susan enjoyed listening to music, with the Beatles and the Everly Brothers being her favorites. She also enjoyed reading. She enjoyed going to the coast of Maine and going on boat rides, especially on Lake Sunapee and the Connecticut River.

Being with her family brought Susan her greatest joy. She had a heart of gold and the sweetest personality. She found a special place in her heart for her miniature dachshunds Daisey and Rose.

She will be greatly missed by many, especially her husband of 57 years, Daniel W. "Danny" Bunker Sr. of Surry; her son, Daniel W. Bunker Jr. and his wife Marissa, of Stoddard, NH; her grandchildren, Nichole LaChance and her husband Donald, Mariah Faulkner and her husband Craig, Connor Bunker and his wife Bronté; her two great-grandchildren, Sandra LaChance and Atticus Faulkner, a brother, Donald Bedaw and his wife Charlene of Keene; and several nieces, nephews and extended family members. A daughter, Sandra Ells, predeceased her in 1996.

Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, September 3, 20025 from 4:00 to 6:00pm at the Foley Funeral Home. 49 Court Street, Keene. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, September 4th at 11:00am in St. Bernard Church, 185 Main Street, Keene. Burial with committal prayers will follow in the Centennial Cemetery, Centennial Road, Gilsum, NH.
