Donna Lou Creager

It is with great sadness that the family of Donna Lou (Nishwitz) Creager, formerly of Dayton, Ohio, announces her passing on Friday, April 14, 2023 at the age of 86 in Keller, Texas. Donna will be lovingly remembered by her children: Todd Creager (Laura), Scott Creager (Karen), Penni Creager, and Robert Allan (Andrea); grandchildren LeighAnne Steen (Todd), Alex Creager (Sandra Indykiewicz), Alyssa Hall (Jeff), Ashlee Pickle (John Kennedy), Kacie Alley (Brian), Elliott Allan, Theo Allan, 8 great grandchildren, and numerous other family members and friends.

Donna was preceded in death by husbands Charles David Creager, Charles Jackson, and Scott Allan; her parents, Rocky and Dorthy Nishwitz; brother Richard (Dick) Nishwitz; and son, Charles (Chipper) Creager.

Donna was known to many as “Nana” and her home was always open. She had wisdom to share that always included popcorn for a snack and the “Nana Dance” to add a little humor. She believed a little lipstick and some Rapture perfume completed every look, and to never leave your house without making the bed. Her home was filled with love and laughter, and her hugs always made you feel safe. Most of all, she absolutely adored her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her beautiful spirit and smile will be so missed by many, and definitely never forgotten.

A private memorial is being planned at a future date.
