Floy O. Price

Floy Oscar Price, 103, born February 15, 1915 in Gunter, Texas and passed away October 14, 2018 in Hurst,Texas surrounded by his family. He was born to Oscar and Lera Adamson Price. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Margaret Price; son, Gordon Price and his brothers and sisters. He is survived by his daughter, Floydean Pelletier and her husband Don; son, Larry Price and his wife Pam; grandchildren, Christy Green and husband Jeremy, Pat Price, and Dawn Pelletier; great grandchildren, Jennifer Coker and Donnie, Delanie Schmidt and her husband Ethan, Brittany Green and Codi and Alexa Garner; great great grandchildren, Blake, Kelly, Aiden, Emma and Mason; sister, Lometa Gray of California and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Floy grew up in Gunter Texas and has lived in Denton, Dallas, Fort Worth and Hurst. He married Margaret Calk in November of 1939. He was an electrical engineer with General Dynamics and retired after 34 years of service. He was a loyal member of North Point Baptist Church since 1954. He enjoyed reading, watching TV, loved the Dallas Cowboys and watched them any time he could. He travelled everywhere around North Texas with his wife. After she passed in 2004 he kept going to the places they had been. Often he would go back to his hometown of Gunter whenever he could. He outlived all his friends and most family but he would visit their graves as often as he could. His grandchildren where his pride and joy and he always made time to visit with them.

Family will receive friends from 6 pm to 8 pm, Thursday, October 18, 2018 at Keller's Old Town Funeral Home, 220 Keller Parkway, Keller, Texas 76248. Funeral Service will be held at 2 pm, Friday, October 19, 2018 at Keller's Old Town Funeral Home, 220 Keller Parkway, Keller, Texas 76248. Final Resting Place will be at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.
