Mojtaba “Emil” Nourbakhsh, beloved husband, devoted father, loyal friend, and true family man, passed away surrounded by love. He lived a life full of warmth, generosity, and boundless joy — a life centered always around the people he loved.
Emil had a gift for making everyone feel like family. Whether it was inviting a new acquaintance to our Thanksgiving table, offering a helping hand (or even the shirt off his back), or welcoming someone in need to share our home, his heart knew no limits. He saw goodness in everyone and believed deeply that we are all the same — bound by love, laughter, and the simple joy of being together.
An avid swimmer and tennis player, Emil found peace and happiness in motion and in nature. He loved to travel, to explore new places and cultures, and to strike up friendly conversations wherever he went — often turning strangers into lifelong friends. His laughter was infectious, his stories were full of life, and his presence made every room brighter.
More than anything, Emil was a man who lived for his family. His love and devotion shaped our lives in countless ways, and his kindness will continue to inspire everyone who knew him.
Emil is survived by his wife of 55 years, Marlene Rose Nourbakhsh, and his four wonderful children Joseph, Monique, Anna & Sholeh, and his three beautiful grandchildren Soraya, Olivia & Dorian.
He will be remembered always for his generous spirit, his joyful heart, and the love he so freely shared with the world.
