Ross Clarence Vaughn, age 75, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2022. Ross was born to the late Charlie and Irene Vaughn in Phoenix, Arizona on August 9, 1947. He joined the Navy at 17, after graduating from Carl Hayden High School in 1965. Ross served 20 years in the US Navy, served in Vietnam, and was rewarded many medical ribbons and plaques, retiring as an E8 senior chief.
Ross was blessed with a loving family. He married his one love, Donna Sue Vaughn on February 7, 1970 in Phoenix Arizona. Ross had two wonderful daughters, and enjoyed taking family trips to see the beauty of USA.
Ross is survived by his wife Donna; his daughters, Erin (Ronald), Kristin (Nick), his five grandchildren Nathan (Caitlin), Ashley (Robbie), Isaac, Athena and Alec; 1 great-grandson, Wyatt.
A committal service with navy honors for Ross, will be held Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at 1:30 PM at DFW National Cemetery, Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.kellersoldtownfuneralhome.com for the Vaughn family.
