Amelia May Menzies

23 August 1934 – 22 May 2025

May passed away on May 22, 2025 at Lakeview Lodge at the age of 90. She was predeceased by her husband of 43 years Keith Menzies in 2014. She was also predeceased by stepdaughter Kim Menzies in 2021. May is survived and remembered by her loving family, sons Barry and Gary Oliver, stepsons Randy and Rick Menzies, daughters Diana Oliver and Joanne Lloyd (Greg) and stepdaughter Kandy Roga (Mike). May is also remembered by 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

May worked in various segments of retail store management for over 22 years finally retiring in 1986. She loved working with her staff and meeting new customers daily.

May had many passions in life starting with the many beautiful hand made quilts she made over the years. She could also crochet just about anything and she could knit, sew and make various crafts.

May and Keith also spent many years camping in the their favourite parks, Shuswap Provincial Park, Bear Creek Provincial Park, North Thompson River Provincial Park and Yard Creek Provincial Park. They also enjoyed their many trips to Alberta/Saskatchewan to visit with family and friends. May has requested no service be held. Family will gather to honour May in the future.
