Carolyn Anne Pittman

Carolyn Anne Pittman went to be with her Lord, March 25, 2013 at the age of 72, after a courageous battle with cancer. Her dedicated and loving husband Lorne of 54 years survives Carolyn, along with her children Dale (Rose) Pittman, Kelly (Sherrie) Pittman of Victoria, BC and Candace (Paul) Thatcher of Kelowna. Carolyn also has four grandchildren Lauren (Kaiden), Darren, Dylan and Kelsey whom she cherished very much. Carolyn was involved in many volunteer services and was an integral part of her church family at Mission Creek Alliance. The family would like to thank the staff of 6 West at KGH, the team at Hospice House, Kelowna and the palliative nursing staff that made it possible her wish to be at home with her family when it mattered the most. A special thank you to Dr. Gary Victor and Dr. Tim Murphy for their loving care of our wife and mother. There are no words to express the amazing gift of love received from Carolyn’s niece Maureen Wareham of Moose Jaw, Sask. who was invaluable to our family through the past few weeks. A Celebration of Carolyn’s life will be held on April 2, 2013 at 1:00 pm. at Mission Creek Alliance Church, 2091 Springfield Road, Kelowna, V1Y 7X1.
