Dear Diane family.  
Just received a note from a friend in Kelowna.  Cheryl and I were just talking about 4 H and our memories with Darlene and your parents,
I told her that i had a friend I met in Arizona.  Elaine said she worked with your mom and i asked her to see if she could make contact with her and get an email address for Darlene.  She sent your mons obit to me., 
We are so sorry we didnt do this years ago.  Your mom and family gave us special memories.  Your mom was a very special lady.  4 H was a wonderful memory for us all.  
Your mom was a very special lady and want you to know we are thinking of you all.  
Darlene I think you named one of the 4 H calves after our daughter Cheryl

Darlene, I’m so sorry to hear about the passing of your mom. I was grateful to know her through school. She always had a smile on her face. I hope you find peace in the memories you shared together.  She is always with you in your heart.

Dianne was the oldest of three kids. Dianne and Donald were very close in age and grew up in Manitoba and Kelowna. When Dianne was 13, I was born and would forever be her baby brother. She loved taking care of me while our mom and dad were working. My wife Diana called Dianne my second mom. Dianne loved a good joke and pulling Donald’s strings. We always had lots of laughs when we got together.

Dianne voiced her opinion on many subjects and always wanted the best for her family, community, neighbors, and friends. She was a great volunteer from working at the Kelowna Buckaroos ticket office, 4H club, Kinsmen to arranging annual flu shots for everyone at her condo complex. If you ever wanted to see her on a Friday evening she would be socializing at the condo club house.

She had many friends at her condo complex who all watched out for each other and had a lot of good fun together, and I would like to say Thanks to them all for their support and friendship over the years. Dianne was the corner stone of our family, organizing family get togethers and keeping in touch with everyone. If I ever wanted to know what someone was up to, she would know.

Dianne had a wonderful life and enjoyed being a mom, grandmother, and great grandmother. Everyone who was touched by her humor, love and warmth will remember and miss Dianne.

We got to know and love Dianne when we moved to Meadowbrook .
She was very inviting and friendly. She had a way of making you feel welcome.  She was a special lady and will be missed !

Diane was the heart and soul of the Meadowbrook community.She was always there to help out a neighbour when she could and was instrumental in organizing events for many years.Prior to that…she was my neighbour on Dilworth.She had a big heart and always a funny story.She will be missed.Annie Ritchie

Mark and I are so sorry to hear that Dianne has passed away. We have known her for the 15 years that we have lived at Meadowbrook. Dianne always took the time to ask about our family and how everyone was doing. She always volunteered tirelessly around our little community. She was one of the nicest people we have ever met, and she will be missed by many
