Dorothy was an avid gardener, artist, stamp collector, and birder. She was a lifetime member of the Trail Art Club and while living in Vancouver regularly attended gallery exhibitions. Always on the lookout for different species of birds, she loved the hummingbirds that came to the feeders and enjoyed watching robins in the Mountain Ash trees in the Fall filling up on berries. The visits of deer and bears in the yard were always exciting and welcome.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Plan Okanagan, an organization Dorothy supported, would be greatly appreciated. (www.planOK.ca)
No funeral service by request, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
